Products for railway applications are a focus of our business. Carbon Strips - made by PanTrac - are characterized by excellent utility properties, such as low wear of the carbon material and the contact surface, high current carrying capability and high temperature resistance. |
Carbon brushes conduct the power transmission in electrical machinery by establishing contact with rotating parts inside an engine. Carbon brushes get their name from bundles of thin copper wires that were used as resilient contacts in the early days of electrical engineering. With the transition to materials based on graphite and carbon, the term carbon brush was coined. |
The term "specialty graphite" refers to graphite parts for various technical applications. These include areas such as industrial furnaces, the foundry industry, chemical engineering and accessories and engineering parts for the solar industry. Other applications and further information can be found on the corresponding page of this website. |
